My purpose

 My purpose in life is to become the person that I aim to be. I have many goals that I want to achieve and many things that I would like to do.  For example, when I graduate high school, I want to go to college and pursue my dream career. I want to become very successful and not worry about other problems. When I have this mindset, I know what to target as of right now to help me achieve my purpose.

 Today in class, I was very upset. The teacher had given us tips on an essay regarding rhetorical analysis. During that time, I was zoning out. Even though I was in a bad mood, I still understood the work. Until then, it was time to go home. I feel that I will be prepared for tomorrow. As long I remember everything that Mr. Rease have taught us, everything should be just fine.

Rhetorical appeals

 Today, we learned about the 3 rhetorical appeals ( logos, ethos, and pathos). Mr Rease proposed to the class the option of having a free day on Friday . This is how I use the 3 appeals:  Ethos- I am a student who plays a sport and all of my classes are accelerated. This shows that I have a heavy schedule. Pathos- 4 days of straight work is a lot for a student with a schedule like mine. And a lot of others have schedules just as full or even more full then mine. The whole thing is mentally draining for me and stress me out. Sometimes you just can’t handle that one more day and reach your breaking point Logos- For the record, there are students like me who have very complex schedules. Complex schedules meaning more stress and difficulty dealing with other classes.
