Bellringer

 My neighborhood is very quiet. Nothing really stands out about it, it’s only woods that makes it soo depressing . I wouldn’t say there’s an eyesore in the neighborhood, it’s just the fact that alot of people be out. The neighborhood isn’t bad but it’s not good at the same time. There’s this one crazy old lady that be driving her car in the yard and chase people. I really don’t have people I know that be in my neighborhood but I do go outside and hangout..

Rhetorical appeals

 Today, we learned about the 3 rhetorical appeals ( logos, ethos, and pathos). Mr Rease proposed to the class the option of having a free day on Friday . This is how I use the 3 appeals:  Ethos- I am a student who plays a sport and all of my classes are accelerated. This shows that I have a heavy schedule. Pathos- 4 days of straight work is a lot for a student with a schedule like mine. And a lot of others have schedules just as full or even more full then mine. The whole thing is mentally draining for me and stress me out. Sometimes you just can’t handle that one more day and reach your breaking point Logos- For the record, there are students like me who have very complex schedules. Complex schedules meaning more stress and difficulty dealing with other classes.
