The rock pile new ending

As Roy stood at the bottom of his step father’s boot, he began to think to his self. He was very scared.  “ Stand up boy”, the father said sternly. Roy proceeded to stand up with caution. His stepfather is a very unpredictable man. There’s no telling what he would do next. The step father then raised his hand. Roy thought he was about to hit him. He closed his eyes and started to accept the consequence as it is. Roy then felt a strong hand on his shoulders. It was his stepfather. The stepfather sighed to his self and said, “ you sure is a lot of work boy…”
