 Today in class, we finished the other poem that we had to do. Then completed an exit ticket. For the second poem we had to do, it was simple. I believe I read it before from an old English class before. Other than that, the class period was somewhat okay since I wanted to go home…

Rhetorical appeals

 Today, we learned about the 3 rhetorical appeals ( logos, ethos, and pathos). Mr Rease proposed to the class the option of having a free day on Friday . This is how I use the 3 appeals:  Ethos- I am a student who plays a sport and all of my classes are accelerated. This shows that I have a heavy schedule. Pathos- 4 days of straight work is a lot for a student with a schedule like mine. And a lot of others have schedules just as full or even more full then mine. The whole thing is mentally draining for me and stress me out. Sometimes you just can’t handle that one more day and reach your breaking point Logos- For the record, there are students like me who have very complex schedules. Complex schedules meaning more stress and difficulty dealing with other classes.

 Today in class, majority of the students presented their black owned businesses project. For the most part, everyone did a wonderful job. I really like most of the presentations.. in the future, I will go out to the places that some of my classmates had on their list… after that, it was time for everyone to go…
