A time when I felt my life changed was when my uncle died. Not only did it affect me, but my mom mostly; Since it was her brother, and they was very close. There’s really nothing I could do because everything happened so fast. All I did was cry because there was all to it…

Rhetorical appeals

 Today, we learned about the 3 rhetorical appeals ( logos, ethos, and pathos). Mr Rease proposed to the class the option of having a free day on Friday . This is how I use the 3 appeals:  Ethos- I am a student who plays a sport and all of my classes are accelerated. This shows that I have a heavy schedule. Pathos- 4 days of straight work is a lot for a student with a schedule like mine. And a lot of others have schedules just as full or even more full then mine. The whole thing is mentally draining for me and stress me out. Sometimes you just can’t handle that one more day and reach your breaking point Logos- For the record, there are students like me who have very complex schedules. Complex schedules meaning more stress and difficulty dealing with other classes.
