 Today in class was very Simple. We did another rhetorical device after another. It really wasn’t that hard . The most irritating part was doing all the questions towards the excersie. It was a bit too much but I still got it done..

Then we learned a new device called Eponym. Using the device was very easy… we most likely talked about it until three o clock….

 Today in class, I was very upset. The teacher had given us tips on an essay regarding rhetorical analysis. During that time, I was zoning out. Even though I was in a bad mood, I still understood the work. Until then, it was time to go home. I feel that I will be prepared for tomorrow. As long I remember everything that Mr. Rease have taught us, everything should be just fine.

Rhetorical appeals

 Today, we learned about the 3 rhetorical appeals ( logos, ethos, and pathos). Mr Rease proposed to the class the option of having a free day on Friday . This is how I use the 3 appeals:  Ethos- I am a student who plays a sport and all of my classes are accelerated. This shows that I have a heavy schedule. Pathos- 4 days of straight work is a lot for a student with a schedule like mine. And a lot of others have schedules just as full or even more full then mine. The whole thing is mentally draining for me and stress me out. Sometimes you just can’t handle that one more day and reach your breaking point Logos- For the record, there are students like me who have very complex schedules. Complex schedules meaning more stress and difficulty dealing with other classes.
