MY LAST BLOG

 Today is my last blog of the school year. I’m so proud of myself. To make it this far. I finally achieved my goal in this class, to have an A by the end of the semester.. I met wonderful people and even learned a lot.. when I come back from summer break, I’ll be a senior.. I’m really excited to go forward with my journey. I still remember myself being in the 8th grade. As time goes by, you grow along with it. It’ll never stop. I’m just glad to see past my high school years and enjoy my life as being a teenager as I can.

 Today in class was quick. Since we had to do a test on a synthesis essay, we have to complete it. I feel that it was easy. Especially for my topic. I didn’t really feel I had enough time though.. but it’s whatever. I was just ready to go home… gladly there’s no school tomorrow.

Rhetorical appeals

 Today, we learned about the 3 rhetorical appeals ( logos, ethos, and pathos). Mr Rease proposed to the class the option of having a free day on Friday . This is how I use the 3 appeals:  Ethos- I am a student who plays a sport and all of my classes are accelerated. This shows that I have a heavy schedule. Pathos- 4 days of straight work is a lot for a student with a schedule like mine. And a lot of others have schedules just as full or even more full then mine. The whole thing is mentally draining for me and stress me out. Sometimes you just can’t handle that one more day and reach your breaking point Logos- For the record, there are students like me who have very complex schedules. Complex schedules meaning more stress and difficulty dealing with other classes.
